How to reach Fundency customer care
Fundency Pty Ltd (ACN 608 160 158), Australian Credit Licence 496643, can be reached by phone on 1300 560 942 and by email at [email protected]. Our postal location is VIC 3810, Australia. Customer care hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Calls or emails outside those hours are picked up on the next business day. Public holidays follow Victorian business days unless we say otherwise on this page.
Use this page when you already have a question about an application, an existing contract, a repayment, hardship, privacy, or a complaint. To apply for a loan, use the online application rather than sending documents to this email first. Starting an application is not an approval and does not skip the assessment we are required to make.
What to contact us about
Application status. If you have submitted an application, customer care can tell you whether we are waiting on information from you, still assessing, or have issued a decision. Have your full name and the mobile or email used on the application ready.
Repayments and account questions. We can explain a debit that has come out, a debit that has failed, how to change a nominated account where the contract allows it, and how early repayment is treated on your contract, including any discounted prepayment that applies.
Hardship. If you cannot meet a repayment, contact us before the due date. Explain what has changed and when you expect to be able to pay. We will look at options available under your contract. Free and independent financial counselling is also available on 1800 007 007 from anywhere in Australia.
Privacy and credit information. Questions about personal information, bank-feed access, or a credit report we have used should go to the same phone and email. The Privacy Officer contact path is in our privacy policy.
Complaints and AFCA
If you are unhappy with our service, email or call and ask for the complaint to be recorded. Say what happened, what you want us to do, and the best number to reach you. We will acknowledge the complaint and respond within the timeframes in our credit guide. We aim to resolve ordinary matters much faster than the maximum 45 days.
If you contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) before we have had a chance to review the complaint, AFCA will usually refer you back to us first. After our internal process, you can contact AFCA on 1300 56 55 62, at afca.org.au, or in writing to Australian Financial Complaints Authority, GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001. AFCA’s service is free. Quote Fundency membership number 67450 if asked. More detail is on feedbacks and complaints.
Before you call about a new loan
Fundency loans range from $300 to $5,000. Small loans up to $2,000 use fees rather than interest (20% establishment fee and 4% monthly fee; example: borrow $1,000, repay $1,320 over 3 months). Medium loans from $2,100 to $5,000 have a maximum APR of 48% and a comparison rate of 65.6597% (example: borrow $3,000, repay $4,289 over 1 year). Read the warning about borrowing and the Target Market Determination if you are unsure whether a short-term loan is appropriate.
We cannot give you an approval, a rate, or a transfer time over the phone without an application and an assessment. The loan calculator is an estimate only. If you want a decision, complete the online application with accurate income, expenses, and identification.
